Food Allergy Testing

Food sensitivity consists mainly of two types of reactions:
IgE immediate hypersensitivity reactions and
IgG delayed hypersensitivity reactions
While IgE reactions are rapid and often result in swelling or difficulty breathing, IgG
reactions develop slowly and may take a few days to manifest, Making their discovery often
difficult through trial and error alone.
IgG testing is done by finger prick with a lancet or by blood sample in a lab.
IgG reactions to foods can contribute to many conditions including:
Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), Migraines, Eczema, Asthma, Chronic Sinusitis/ Post Nasal
Drip, Ear Infections, Fatigue and more.
